Because EA only sent us our Xbox One copy of Battlefield V a week after the game's release, we had to ask CpRBe to capture some PC footage of his own game to show you a bit of multiplayer gameplay. NO one should be especially interested in our Xbox One X videos of the campaign mode, but here is a couple anyway. As usual, DICE's game is not meant to be played alone, its campaign being just as mediocre as those of the previous games in the franchise, but at least there is a single player campaign here. You'll get to see pretty nice-looking locations, though we'd love to see DICE get rid of the LOD and pop-ip issues in their engine.

After the rainy weekend we had, we've decided to show you the new RTX technology by nVidia on the brand new Battlefield 5 released a few days ago. Battlefield V is the first game to benefit from this famous tech and we can tell you that it is not yet fully optimized. Once the RTX is activated, the number of FPS will be divided by 2, no less! Here are 2 videos in 1440p with RTX set to low to maintain a framerate above 60 FPS. The last video is in 4K, but was obviously recorded without RTX.

The open beta of Battlefield V will be available for all tomorrow, but it could be played since yesterday for pre-orders and EA/Origin Access members. Here are two PC gameplay videos with Ultra settings, in 1440p and 5.1 audio (by downloading the source file).

Electronic Arts and DICE revealed yesrerday Battlefield V which as expected takes place during World War 2. Besides multiplayer modes the title features single-player War Stories and the cooperative Combined Arms. It will launch October 19. As usual with EA, we don't have the trailer in good quality but asked for it just in case. The first screens are inside.
