It's been more than seven years that Jade and Pey'j invaded the Playstation 2 and a bit later the first Xbox and Nintendo's Gamecube. A great game that has left so many fond memories to some of the very few that bought it then. Unfortunately, it did not sell so well at the time and since then, we have been longing for a worthy sequel that hasn't come yet to this day. Thankfully, Ubisoft decided to give Michel Ancel's game a second youth with Beyond Good & Evil HD. Here is a very special review for a game that is just as special.
Beyond Good & Evil HD will be released this Wednesday on Xbox Live and it should be available later on PSN. For 800 Microsoft points you will get a chance to discover this "old" classic in 1080p and 60 frames per second. Don't miss our review on Wednesday if you don't know what to do yet.
Ubisoft sent us the newest trailer of Beyond Good & Evil HD, but we have to tell you that it contains a spoiler, you've been warned. Coming to Xbox Live Arcade on March 2nd.
Mircosoft France organized a special event around Xbox Live House Party this week but did not think we'd be interested as we did not receive any sort of invitation. That being said, we wouldn't want you to miss this avalanche of images of Beyond Good & Evil HD, Torchlight, Full House Poker, Hard Corps: Uprising and finally Bejeweled Blitz.
While many are still desperately waiting for some news regarding its sequel, Beyond Good & Evil HD is back with a very short teaser trailer giving us a glimpse of the game's new HD look. The idea of having a second chance to rediscover the world imagined by Michel Ancel is definitely appealing, but please Ubisoft, don't forget to get us a worthy sequel.
Update: Four images added.
Ubisoft just announced the upcoming release in 2011 of the Beyond Good & Evil HD, the 1080p remaster of the excellent Beyond Good & Evil. While waiting for its sequel, I guess it will have to do.
