Namco Bandai released these 19 images of Culdcept Saga, most certainly from the US version of the game. It was also announced that the game will be released in the US this summer, with some luck we'll have it in Europe at that time too.
Culdcept Saga, this name was more about laughing at the bad screenshots and videos than anything else for me until yesterday, when I put the DVD in my japanese 360 and lost 4 hours of my week-end playing this game. I was expecting to stop playing in disgust after 15 minutes, and there I was completely enjoying the experience! Describing the game in detail would be much too difficult for me, so I'll let you watch the videos (30 minutes!) and then feel free to ask me any question in the comments, I'll do my best to give you a reply.
I really hope this game will be released out of Asia, because this is certainly something completely different from anything I've ever played on the 360 or even anywhere else for that matter. It's really deep, and really well thought out. So yes it's not the best game out there technically, but the art direction is mostly excellent so it's not as much of an issue as I thought it would be.
Namco released these images of Culdcept Saga, finally showing some 720p godness of this interesting game (that should be on the TGS floor).
Famitsu spent two pages about Culdcept Saga this week, and the game looks really promising. Can't wait for a new trailer of this one!
Famitsu Weekly continues with its covering of Culdcept Saga, forthcoming card/board game for Xbox360. Here is last week's article along with very nice ad. Game is now scheduled for early Fall release in Japan.
Update : This week's scans
Famitsu Weekly was quite interesting this week, with the first images of Trusty Bell, but also with these 2 pages about Culcept Saga, 3 pages about Bullet Witch and nothing less than a 8 pages advertising for Trusty Bell! Namco really believes in this game's potential. Let's just hope the japanese gamers won't just ignore it because it's not on their platform of choice.
Namco has via Japanese Watch released a bunch of images from their upcoming RPG/board game Culdcept Saga. The characters look really great, while the environments maybe needs some improvements.
Well it certainly didn't take long for Famitsu to start putting lots of images of Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 in their pages, and for some reason I'm not surprised at all. All these images seem to be from the trailer. The 360 game this week was Culdcept Saga. It may look like a Dreamcast game, but keep in mind that the PS2 version was still stuck in 2D!
Announced just a few days ago during the Microsoft Press Briefing, Culdcept Saga is already in the new Famitsu Weekly with these 4 pages full of images.
