We may not be as talented as some when it comes to the Souls series, but we were nonetheless happy to launch our Xbox One X version of Dark Souls: Remastered earlier today. Inside you'll find 4K (1800p actually) and 60 fps videos of the very beginning of the game.
Dark Souls: Remastered will be released this week on PS4/Xbox One/PC, and such a classic game certainly warrants a new launch trailer. The remaster itself doesn't seem to change many things, but just playing the game at a (more or less) locked 60 fps and higher resolution should be enough for many people!
Bandai Namco announces that digital pre-orders for Dark Souls: Remastered are now open on consoles' storefronts, just a month before its release. Additionally, we learn that owners of Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition (Steam version) will get a 50% discount for the Remaster. The former will be delisted from Steam on May 8th and replaced by the new version. Owners will still be able to play and re-download from their library the old edition.

The big reveal from the latest Nintendo Direct was Dark Souls: Remastered, making it the first game in the series on a Nintendo console. The RPG will hit Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 25 with dynamic 4K resolution for the stronger hardwares.
