After the 360 version, it is now the turn of the PC port of Dead Space 3 to show off. The game runs fine but it looks very similar to its console counterpart, which is no surprise as the developers said it would look identical. Well, sort of, since you can still enjoy 1080p/60fps as well as a more efficient antialiasing. Here is one video to begin with, more will follow tomorrow but because of the time needed to encode and upload the rest, you'll have to be patient. Dead Space 3 has arrived, after months of waiting, we are finally going to find out if Visceral stayed true to the franchise. After playing the first 5 hours of the game in hard mode - and completing the first 7 chapters -, we can say that the game is a lot more faithful to the first episode than we thought it would be. Some will paradoxically bitch about the feeling of deja vu, but at least you'll get your share of dark corridors and low gravity sequences - something many feared would not make it to the final game after months of snowy media. Only when reaching chapter 8 will you discover Tau Volantis for a welcome change of scenery, or so it seemed since it's exactly when we stopped playing. While the Facebook page of Dead Space 3 teases the announcement of something big tomorrow, EA also released a bunch of new images of the game so your imagination can go wild.

15 minutes of Dead Space 3 with the Creative Director and the Senior Audio Artist of the game, that's what we are offered by EA tonight. They are giving us their vision of horror and fear while taking us aboard the ship Eudora.

Dead Space 3 is back with nine spooky images which seem to indicate that the game has not lost its powerful atmosphere. Let's hope this third installment will be as terrifying as the first two.
