Kojima Productions and 505 Games announce the release of Death Stranding on PC Game Pass on August 23, and here's a new trailer.
Death Stranding Director's Cut is now available on PC, and we captured a 4K video of the game. This version brings all the new features of the Director's Cut release that we've already seen on Sony's consoles, but also an increased frame rate up to 240 fps, a better photo mode and compatibility with ultra-wide monitors.
After Deathloop, Death Stranding Director's Cut is the last PS5 exclusive of this year. Although it would have been nice to discover a brand new game instead of a port, it is still a chance for those who have never tried Hideo Kojima's game to play it in the best possible conditions. That said, is the new content really worth checking out for all the players who've already jumped on the bandwagon? Well, to find out, how about you check our (long) video review inside? If you don't have 30 minutes of time ahead of you, we've also prepared a comparison video in which you can see the two graphics modes in action. Enjoy!
Today, Hideo Kojima offers us his "Final Trailer" of Death Stranding Director's Cut on PlayStation 5. The trailer is available in 4K, 60FPS and entirely captured on PlayStation 5 in "wide mode", the new cinematic image format of Death Stranding Director's Cut
We knew that Death Stranding Director's Cut would be present during the Opening Night Live 2021, here is the trailer released during the event.
Hideo Kojima was present during the Summer Games Fest, he took the opportunity to unveil this new trailer of Death Stranding Director's Cut, which will be released soon on PS5.
Eight months and a pandemic after a PS4 release, Death Stranding has now been delivered on PC, which opens up a whole new market for Kojima Production. NVIDIA decided to add the game as a bundle for future RTX GPU owners to promote DLSS 2.0, which does an impressive job we must say. To celebrate the arrival of the game on PC, we have prepared a series of HDR videos and a written review for those of you who are curious to know what the port is worth. Enjoy!
Note: As usual, we used an i9 9900K and an RTX 2080 Ti to record our footage.
Our coverage of Death Stranding is now over, so it's your turn to give your feedback on the game if you've chosen to give it a go. If you're still hesitating, you might want to watch the replay of yesterday's livestream, which should at least show you how the game plays/ There are no story related spoilers so don't be afraid, you're safe with us.
It's been almost a week since our review of Death Stranding came out, but we wouldn't want you to feel our coverage hasn't been thorough enough so we have a bunch of gameplay videos to share today. Since tomorrow is the official launch date for the game, we'll also be live tonight for a short presentation of the game from 8:45 CET to 9:45. Don't hesitate to join us if you have questions or simply want to hear BlimBlim's sexy French accent.
Because we were given 2 full weeks to play and review Death Stranding, we have been able to prepare something quite thorough for both sides of the website. Inside, you will find our review of Kojima's new game in 2 different forms which complete one another. We recorded a video review which is actually a discussion about the game and we've added a written one in which we can give you more details about the content of the game and the way it plays. As usual, there are no spoilers to be found here, as we even prefer to remain vague on some of the game's features so you can enjoy the surprise just like we did. We hope you'll appreciate the effort, even if it meant I've had to focus on this only for the past 2 weeks. Enjoy!
