Techland today announces the launch of a new event in the world of Dying Light, Low Gravity, in which forces from outer space besiege Harran. Additionally, Techland announces the Astronaut pack available for purchase alongside the free event, which contains new items and skins related to Low Gravity. The Astronaut pack is available for purchase starting from $2.99 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.

Techland has confirmed that the expansion Dying Light: The Following will release in the first quarter of 2016. The content, priced at $14.99 (or free for Season Pass owners), features an upgradable and customizable dirt buggy, a vast countryside map, a new story and more. New teaser and a screenshot inside.

The Following, the upcoming expansion for Dying Light gets 15 minutes of gameplay from Techland who answers some questions in the second half of the video. The story-based add-on offers a new huge map, upgradeable dirt buggies, and new weapons for $14.99 or free if you own the season pass.

The expansion for Dying Light teased a days ago has a name now: The Following. Check the first screenshots inside. The map from this story-based expansion pack is "the same size as all the previous maps combined". It will be free for season pass holders, more details after Gamescom.

Techland has put online a video that sums up all the updates and addon contents Dying Light received for half a year plus a teaser on what's coming soon.

Dying Light's first DLC Cuisine & Cargo is out today has announced Techland. It brings two new challenging missions. The Ultimate Survivor Bundle will be out in March while The Bozak Horde is set to release in May.

Because Youtubers released tons of videos of Dying Light before release (since they were the only ones to have received the game in advance...), we didn't think it would be useful to propose our own livestream. That being said, since we still to practice our hosting skills, we've changed our minds and we'll be live at 9:00 p.m. CET to day on either the PC or PS4 version (we haven't decided yet). Direct feed PS4 footage will be posted in the afternoon.

Until we figure out which version of Dying Light we want to show you tonight, here are a few gameplay videos of Techland's new title on Playstation 4. Some passages may be similar to what we showed on PC yesterday, but we've added a few more sequences as well. Enjoy!

Until we can show you the PS4 version later today, here are a few gameplay videos of Dying Light on PC. Since we captured them using our dedicaded capture PC, the framerate issues you can see are real with our game rig (i5 4670K @ 4.0 GHz, 8 Go RAM, Windows 8.1, Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 Gigabyte OC), which seems to indicate that the game isn't fully optimized yet. Indeed, apart from the draw distance option that clearly has an impact on framerate, lowering the other graphics settings do not seem to improve the overall experience. It's still playable, but the drops should be fewer with a GTX 970. Aside from the optimization problems, the game seems rather solid thanks to the new traversal possibilities. Melee combat has been improved over Dead Island's and fighting has become even more visceral. That being said, if you never enjoyed Techland's previous zombie series, chances are you won't find this new game to your liking either.
