As expected, the new PSSR arrived this week and significantly improves the visuals on a number of games, including those that haven’t been updated—since, much like the Boost feature for PS4 titles, you can force its use by enabling an option in the console’s video settings. As a result, we’re bringing you a comprehensive video showcasing no fewer than twelve different games, with more to come in the coming days if we can find the time to cover them more thoroughly.

As you'll see, FFVII Rebirth shows the most significant improvements over the base PS5 version, but the sequel to Alan Wake also shows better visuals and image quality overall, though there's still some noise and artefacts to be seen.
