Everyonewas eagerly waiting for the PlayStation Pro update for Gran Turismo 7 and it's now available. It gives access to two graphics modes, including one that adds ray tracing during gameplay, all at 60 fps (or more if you have the proper screen). After a few tests, we still find that the image quality is somewhat degraded in this mode, especially when compared to the one that favors performance, which can reach 120 frames per second. It's up to you to decide whether the few added reflections - that are actually difficult to catch during the race - are worth it or not. The patch also improves the rendering of the game on PSVR2, but since we haven't had time to try it, we can't tell you about it for the moment.

Now it's summertime, we're going to slow things down a notch on Gamersyde, though rest assured we'll do our best to keep providing you with content as much as possible. Because things have been pretty quiet lately, we decided to go back to Gran Turismo 7 and recorded the replay of a race on the iconic Nordschleife. If you watch the video until the end, you'll even see that the AI is now capable of spinning out of control, which makes the racing even more realistic.

Because of the short break we took about the PlayStation VR2 embargo lifted, we couldn't cover many of the remaining games we were sent a bit too late. Here's everything we have left with Synth Riders, Ragnarock, REZ Infinite, Tetris Effect: Connected, Cave Digger 2: Dig Harder, Zombieland: Headshot Fever Reloaded, Townsmen VR, Dyschronia: Chronos Alternate, Fantavision 202X, No Man's Sky, Resident Evil Village and Gran Turismo 7.

Just like with Horizon Forbidden West, we thought you might enjoy some HDR footage of Gran Turismo 7, which will be available tomorrow for everyone. Let us also remind you that our full video review came out yesterday and that it's definitely worth a look. Note that the YouTube version of the HDR video is still not ready yet although we uploaded it six days ago. Yet another proof of the service's incompetence when you don't have enough subscribers to deserve a functional one. Until it's been processed, you can thankfully download the file for free here, put it on a flashdrive and play it on your TV for the best possible quality.

Gran Turismo 7 deserved some quality content on Gamersyde, so since we cannot show you gameplay clips without commentary yet, we are giving you another video review, hoping that it will be good enough to deserve your attention. Here is a new State of Play featuring more than 30 minutes of new PS5 footage and gameplay details for Gran Turismo 7.

Playstation 5 owners are in for a treat in early 2022 as the first three months of the year will come with an exclusive title. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection will be out in about two weeks, quickly followed by Horizon Forbidden West in February and Gran Turismo 7 in March. Today we have been confirmed that Daytona International Speedway will be included in the seventh installment of the iconic series so it is no wonder to see that a new gameplay video has been released. Again, it is YouTube only but it is at least available in 4K as usual. This time, not only do we get some cockpit gameplay but we're also offered a replay (in 30 fps apparently).

Sony released a new video of Gran Turismo 7 on YouTube so we're sharing it, though we'd rather be able to propose a true HQ version. As usual, this promotional video is rather short, but it shows more appealing clips than last time, though it is probably easier to do so when it's edited sequences. Today's video focuses on the DualSense and what it can bring to the overall experience.

The Playstation Youtube channel released a short gameplay video of Gran Turismo 7 that has failed to impress us for the moment. It might just be us but there seems to be something off with the lighting and colors and we were hoping not to see such obvious LOD issues in a game running on Playstation 5. What do you guys think?
