Gran Turismo 7 deserved some quality content on Gamersyde, so since we cannot show you gameplay clips without commentary yet, we are giving you another video review, hoping that it will be good enough to deserve your attention. If you like it, don't hesitate to let other people know and share the review, we could use a bit more visitors after all.

Well done Driftwood! It's amazing the game runs at native 4K. I didn't expect that and I thought we would get a 4K checkerboard resolution. For some games like Control even the fastest graphic cards like the RTX 3090 is not cabable of doing native 4K60. And regarding raytracing my opinion hasn't changed. I think they are "okay" but they cost the earth and still have denoising artefacts. Also while the RT reflections and shadows are nice and more realistic I often think one doesn't think normally if reflections or shadows are acurate during normal gameplay. Non RT reflections and shadows often look very convincing already. Don't get me wrong Raytracing has a bright future but we are still in the early days with it.

I think a decent ray-tracing implementation for your car is out of the cards for this current weakass raytracing hardware. Must be crazy intensive to do your car @ 60 even with lowered resolution, so wathever.

Too bad those reflection are crazy bad sometimes in agravated scenarios (going by the latest official footage) it would be a game changer to have'm in gameplay.

Your students must be happy with that many game releases, you don’t have time to grade them so probably not many tests happened in the past month :D

I'm spending my week in the mountain grading papers while my wife and kids are skiing!

It's all because of GT7, had to give it all my time last week.

According to another review there is no more rubber band effect. It became optional in the settings now. I am really happy with this. Big thumbs up and lots of kudos to Polyphony. In GT Sport there was always a rubber band when racing against the CPU. At least the implementation was quite soft. For example only the second car had an invisible rubber band when you were leading the race. The rest of the cars didn't seem to have it. This is in contrast to Wipeout Omega where the whole field was always flying around you.
