Codemasters unleashed GRID on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC earlier this month, and here are finally the first 10 minutes of the game. I excluded the first race as it's the same one we captured from the demo.
Codemasters could almost beat the record of official videos and trailers with GRID, but then I'm not complaining. This time it's the damage engine that's in the spotlight.
Codemasters released this video of GRID, showing some fans of the series trying the game for the first time, but also some actual footage of this superb looking game.
Codemasters give it all and release no less than twenty-one images of GRID. Visually, it looks awesome.
Codemasters is still very generous with the medias of GRID, with this time a trailer showing the various tracks and activities available to play in Japan.
Codemasters just released these images of GRID, showing all the three platforms in action, and more importantly the multiplayer mode of the game. The demo has kept me busy for a couple of days, and graphically speaking there seems to be few differences except framerate between the PC and Xbox 360 version.
Codemasters today released a demo for GRID on the Marketplace while PSN and PC demos are planned to go up later this week. Here are some images and a video from the quite impressive demo. As you will see in the video, the AI is pretty rough and won't hesitate to use heavy force to go past you. As you play the demo, you'll see that the game is more Arcade than sim - meaning that some people won't like the way the game use drifting, but personally I like what I've seen so far.
Update: First video is up, one lap in Germany.
Update 2: Drifting event in Yokohama!
Update 3: Let's be done with the best looking track of the three: San Francisco. I'm sure the fans of MSR and the first PGR will be delighted to see that track!
Codemasters released this video of GRID, this time with two actual pilots promising us a very realistic Le Mans racing track.
