Expectations were not especially high for Immortals of Aveum, but though reviews were mixed, some people seem to have enjoyed the game. As for us, we have not played enough of it to tell you if it's worth your time, but we have witnessed the cost of Unreal Engine 5 when aiming for 60 fps on consoles. Internal resolution is rather low as a result (720p on PS5 and Series X and 436p on S) with noticeable FSR artefacts to bring the game at 4K. Framerate isn't steady despite that and even a VRR display will not smooth things out perfectly. The PC version is also very demanding, a 2080 being necessary to run the game at 60 fps with low settings and Performance DLSS.
