The first Nioh got its Complete Edition when it was released on PC so it is no surprise to see that Nioh 2 has been given the same treatment, a few months after it came out as an exclusive title on Playstation 4. Sadly, we ran into many technical issues with the PC version, despite a very powerful rig (RTX 3080, Ryzen 5900X). For starters, we were never able to select 4K as a resolution in the game when playing on our LG CX and HDR didn't work either. Then, performance remained disappointing in 4K, 1440p and even 1080p, which explains the dips you will see. Another oddity on our end is that we've never been able to play the game at 120 fps, it simply wouldn't work. Note that DLSS is supposed to be added for launch as well as Xbox prompt buttons so don't be surprised to see the PS4 ones in our videos... We sincerely hope the game will be patched to fix the technical issues, although we are perfectly aware that not everyone will encounter the same problems than we have. We'll make more videos if things improve (or when it does). PS5 owners are luckier thankfully as we've had no issues when playing the Nioh Collection in either 4K/60fps or 120 fps (we could not record 120 fps gameplay though, our Ninja device doesn't seem to work as it should at such high frame rate). You will also find gameplay PS5 videos of the 2 remastered titles inside.
