Role-playing game Opoona is back with some new gameplay videos on the Nintendo Wii. In spite of its numerous detractors, I like it, maybe the sight of these new media will be able to change your opinion. The combat system seems muddled, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time before you can enjoy it. Their only problem for the moment, at least which I can analyze without the game in hand, is the recharge attacks and the noise pollution they create. Launch is due March the 25th in America.
Role-playing and adventure videogame Opoona, recently confirmed for a March 25 2008 North-American release date and the same year for Europe, is having fun with more than thirty new images. Already available in Japan where it had a shy reception, let's hope it will have a better success on the other parts of the globe. One of its particularities is the fact you can play through it using only one hand with the Nunchuk, so the lazy gamers will be served.
Opoona is an out of the ordinary videogame set in the adventure genre with RPG elements and is under development for Nintendo Wii. Its visual style visual in cel-shading is charming. Finally a tasty production which is not limited to the groundwork of several Wii games. It proposes a visual originality with a notable team of development, of which Shintaro Majima (Dragon Quest) as lead artist and composer Hitoshi Sakimoto (Final Fantasy XII). Launch is planned this spring.
