After being released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Redout is back on Nintendo's latest console. As you'll see, though (almost) perfectly smooth (but at 30 fps), this version of the game does not feature the same level of sharpness when it comes to the visuals. In handheld mode, it becomes even blurrier, making a bit less enjoyable to play as you can imagine. Here are 2 videos of the port on Switch.

PC owners had the chance to play Redout for a year now, but players on PS4 and Xbox One will have waited a while before they can lay their hands on this game inspired by Wipeout. Here are some Xbox One gameplay videos.

Arcade racing title Redout from 34BigThings is coming soon to retail for PS4 and Xbox One thanks to a partnership with publisher 505 Games.

As promised, here comes more gameplay footage of Redout, which will be available on PC in a few hours now. This time, we recorded a few races, one of them allowing to use active perks like our EMP weapon. The Time Attack video was captured with a Class II ship, but we haven't won the gold yet. Enjoy!

Last week we covered Formula Fusion, a Wipeout-like title in development, but a pretty serious challenger will be available in a few days on PC (console versions in early 2017). Redout may have a more "low-poly" approach to the visuals but it looks impressive nonetheless, with quite an incredible sense of speed even with class I ships (there are 4 classes total). It however requires a bit of practice to get the hang of it, something we haven't put enough time in, as you'll see in the following videos. The learning curve seems pretty big, with new perks to buy and upgrade, a good number of tracks to race on, and of course many different vehicles, each with their own specs. We've deciced to show you our early steps in the game, as we're learning how to play on Time Trial events. We haven't been able to try the game with VR yet, but we'll let you know when we do.
