Today, World War Z received the free Proving Grounds update which brings daily challenges to players and allow them to earn in-game money they can use to get customization items.

Ahead of the game's release on April 16, Focus shares a new glimpse at World War Z with the launch trailer. The publisher also announced it has renewed its partnership with the developer Saber Interactive for two projects, one of those being based on a Games Workshop license.

At launch, World War Z will feature 11 missions across 4 episodes and today Focus and Saber Interactive unveil the Tokyo episode where hordes of zombies ambush survivors in narrow streets.

Pre-orders of coop shooter World War Z are now open so Saber Interactive and Focus have released a new trailer that showcases the game's fast-paced and explosive gameplay. It will be out on April 16.

Besides fighting off other players in World War Z, you will have to take into account any imminent zombie swarm that could turn the tide of the fight. The game will launch this year with 5 modes: Scavenge Raid, Vaccine Hunt, Swarm Deathmatch, Swarm Domination, and King of the Hill.

Coop shooter World War Z showcases the different playstyles and perks from the six available classes that are Gunslinger, Hellraiser, Slasher, Medic, Fixer and l'Exterminator. The game is scheduled to launch in 2019.

Sabre Interactive and Paramount Pictures have announced World War Z, a four-player cooperative shooter based on the movie and expected to release in 2018 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
