PS3

Sega released these 10 images of Full Auto 2: Battlelines. I'm not totally sure they are new, but there weren't online here until now.

funny how all the shots of the havok you cause are taken in reverse angle... which was why the game was a let down in the first place. All the cool stuff happend when you zipped past it...

and now they are making a number two.... dollars wasted if you ask me...

I definitely agree, but the super instant replay (insanely instant replay) certainly made some situations well worth while.

The fun of the first game was really the INSANE IN YOUR FACE INTENSITY of everything and the situations you ended up in, when the cars basically became this FORCE pushing everything on the track forward. It wasn't really so much about the huge things falling apart when you went out of your way to shoot it.

That's obviously what reviewers and onlookers thought though, because they really seem to emphasise that in the sequel and I think perhaps it's largely irrelevant if a house collapses or not. Then again, the intensity of the first game was related to all the crazy shit that was happening all-the-sodding-time, so even more stuff happening could be a good thing.

I just hope they solidify the framerate and give the tracks a bit of personality. I'm having real trouble remembering which one is which even today. I'm something of a closet fan of the first, and keeping an eye on this.

Must just be you. Though I wouldn't buy the game, I may rent it, though with motorstorm I doubt it.

*YAWN* What a boring game. Take this back to Xbox lol

Seriously which PS3 owner in his right mind would buy this when they can have Motorstorm or Twisted Metal (rumoured to be in the works).

Sorry to who-ever wants this game to succeed but it will fall very flat.

I'll probably give this game a rental. It's nice to see Sega supporting the PS3 this strongly. They killed so many of their franchises last gen by allying themselves to M$ too closely. I mean, Panzer Dragoon would be great for PS3 (SIXAXIS control would take the game off rails), but I doubt we'll see another installment thanks to the poor sales of Orta.

Yea , I'm waiting for another Panzer Dragoon as well - another RPG-Installlment like PD Saga would be a must-buy for me.

First of all, if they wanted to take the game off rails they could've dones so with Orta. Dual analogues, hello?

And also, it's funny how you mention "killing franchises" and suggest taking PD off rails in the same sentence. :)

Shinobi, Nightshade, Blood Will Tell, Altered Beast, Rez, Space Channel 5.. I didn't exactly see those fly on PS2 either. Sega just weren't welcome anywhere.

I didn't like the first installment.. neither I will this one. The game runs too smooth to me :P and the textures suck.. well, it's ugly when you see it in motion.

So true. all those quality titles struggeled to make enough money to pay for their development. thanks to gamers not buying them games in quantaties enough to make sega know gamers want great and unique games, we are now stuck with another vf, vt, sonic and full auto... talk about this indusry going commercial in overgear.

Capcom is now becomming what sega once were.

I completely agree actually. Capcom is the new Sega for me, and honestly it seems that they can do no wrong lately. Every single game they've made in the last few years has been nothing short of epic, and they all feel incredibly polished and well thought out.

As for FA2, I really enjoyed the first one a lot, so I'll be getting the second one when I get my PS3. :)
