Xbox 360

Tetsuya Mizuguchi himself released these 2 images of Ninety Nine Nights, one from a prerendered CG sequence (I think), and the other from a realtime one.

The 360 graphics have begun to improve in just a few weeks.
I think a lot of these delayed games will be well worth the wait

Both of those are 100% realtime, seriously those shots look awesome, but N3's CG still looks way better than that.

I played this game at Zero Hour. It plays just like dynasty warriors, but it seemed like a lot more going on. I am going to have a video I took of gameplay coming some time soon, I just have to rip it off my dv camera.

I'm not a fan of the game cause of the gameplay, but it was definitely a cool game if you are into that type of stuff. At one point my friend got a combo of like 585 hits! I got all of that on tape. It's really cool.

Devil Kings is a good alternative to Dynasty Warriors that hosts some decent graphics.

Wow, those are pretty incredible. Just imagine what the later generation 360 games will look like, once the developers learn to start multithreading correctly.

multithreading is no issue (PGR3 uses every single core with two threads as roger from bizarre said) the magic word is TILING on the GPU.

Hmmm, I've read a number of places that virtually all first generation 360 games are single threaded. Here's one such instance: http://www.openxbox360.com/modules.php?name=News&f...

Are you sure the multithreading is no issue for developers? I was under the impression that multithreading games was quite difficult, as many gaming tasks are inherently serial.

Optimised multithreading is an issue, once they learn how to use all three cores/six threads as efficiently as possible then we'll see some amazing things. These launch games are literally the tip of the iceberg, same as any other launch titles are.

Hey, actually I thought that 0.5 a core (one thread) was designated for Live/Guide functionality during gameplay? That only 2.5 core was available for gaming?
