We managed to find a few more images of The Crew on their Facebook page. They're not all new but until we get more news from French developer Ivory Tower, it will have to do. We have high expectations for the game, so let's hope it won't disappoint.

The internet gets all pissy when they see real screenshots and actually the way next-gen games look, but when presented with something that is more in line with their out-of-whack expectations, they question the validity.
There's nothing in these screenshots that looks like it couldn't be done, especially for a next-gen only game and especially one that was delayed so it didn't have to meet launch (which meant having your game done before the hardware and OS was done).
Maybe I'm missing something or is it that the world just loves to be cynical that there's no way to win on teh interwebz???
Dont get me wrong, i hope these graphics are possible on PS4, but u remember the DEMO they showed at Ubi E3 conf.? It look waay worse than this, almost like a diff engine.

And no, you can't please everyone. Duh.
2) Who said anything about Photoshop?
And this is why people don't like bullshots. Because people believe them.
As for these shots, I don't know for sure if they're "bullshots" or not, but I don't see anything that can't be done. I'm intimate with the hardware (PS4, XB1, etc) on a daily basis and we've yet to scratch the surface on what can be done. Plus, everything is about context. This is a single 3D object (the car) in a room that you don't have free agency in. Many tricks can (are) done to the background and the horsepower put into rendering the car. The car that has no AI, no physics, no collision, nothing but polys, "some" normals (mostly polys) and some very nice shaders.
My main thing is that people just seem to want to bitch and there doesn't seem to be a way to win... at least not with people who like to bitch on the internet. So, yes Korn, you're right... it's futile. You've convinced me. You've convince another dev that it's not really worth caring about the customer, because they don't give a shit about you, except to shit on you. Got it.
Bullshots are dishonest and they give people ridiculous expectations. Not everyone knows better.
The super sampling is a dead give away. But I guess you could just call them PC "screen shots." It is multiplatform.
and you're right, you telling me (or anyone) that they complain, that they're cinical, biased, brumpy, are harsh towards developers (blah blah blah) isn't going to change anything...so, erm, why bother?
It's like a sport to troll. I get it... it's cool... you're cartoon characters. I get it now. :)

Cynical comment about a game is still a comment about the game
Cynical comment about the cynical comment is just pointless.
But by all means, carry on.

Complaining about complaining is complaining, people.
