Until I can find a little time to review Alice: Madness Returns (not before next week at best), I prepared a few gameplay videos of the PC version of the game. Let's start with one focused mainly on the early environments as a sort of teaser of what's to come. The next videos will show you the beginning of Alice's adventures. The footage was captured in 1080p, 30fps with the PhysX option set on high, which is why you may notice some rare hiccups in the framerate once in a while.
Update 3: One last gameplay video added.

in fact, they will lose many, and this new system of theirs will not create replacements.
I used to think I would die with a controller in my hand and a smile on my face, but now I think in ten years I'll probably have ditched gaming; there's too much metagame associated with it now.
well, maybe I'll stick with the indie scene.
EA has more muscle to force their way into the digital DL scene on the PC than Microsoft does.
PS. There's a thread on NeoGAF about it being in the Steam registry. This in no way is a solid confirmation that it will ever be released though.
Go fall off a cliff.
Change the two max framerate settings: just search for 'max' and where you see 'framerate' after the 'max', change the 30 (or 32) to whatever you want.
I'm unhappy D:
lol.
I still wanna play it though.
I've said in the past that i though the game looks incredibly dated design wise, and it is, but it's not as much of an issue as i expected. levels do progress and generally look like they're from the mid 90's (polygonal edges everywhere, invisible walls EVERYWHERE). and the graphics are some of the worst I've seen (the game looks VERY UE3) but the old-school platforming gameplay is what's the most appealing and the art style is good. and it's a decent challenge as far as platformers go too, even the combat system is relatively decent.
considering you get the first Alice free if you buy the game, I actually think this is worth the full asking price. both adventures combined are going to run you into the 25-35 hour mark. so value for money isn't really an issue. along with portal 2 it's probably been one of the best games I've rented so far this year.
