Anthem is available to all those who have subscribed to EA Access, so we finally put our money down to try the game ourselves. Since Gamersyde has never been high profile enough to be on EA's safe list for early reviews, we didn't have much of a choice if we wanted to be able to share videos before everyone starts playing the game. The following footage was recorded in borderless mode with ultra settings. Our RTX 2080 Ti still struggles a bit to maintain a steady framerate, but it's not too bad considering the resolution and all the effects on screen.

Ironic and funny that for all the gorgeous visuals and awesome special effects of Anthem, a AAA game with a huge budget behind it, I barely had fun playing it. Just spent over 7 hours straight playing Crackdown 3 and had a lot of fun.
Technically speaking, Anthem blows Crackdown 3 in every single department, except for the one that counts the most: fun factor. Reminds me of comparisons people make sometimes between boring AAA games and great fun indie games. Higher budget doesn't necessarily means better, just more technically advanced.
I am not interested in the low-end versions on weak console hardware...

As I said I don't like PC and I talked with gamersyde guys not you dunno why u jump in maybe because of PS4 exclusives that burned your boring platform downnnnnnn .next time stick to your PC and don't interfere in others conversation
Executives and specially shareholders will definitely question that about it. It`s about "investment x profit", and projects released so close to each other are inevitable measured against one another, even if they are very different
If BioWare returns to their root and just make games how they used to, not trying to turn them into a MMO or open-world for no reason, I`m sure their games will be much better, the public and the critics will definitely notice that. They`re not bad developers, they`re just misguided, for lack of a better word.
EA needs to change their approach. So does Activision.
