GSY Video PC PS4 Xbox One

Driftwood hasn't been particularly convinced by the few missions of the single player campaign of Star Wars Battlefront II available for EA Access subscribers. It is now time to show you some Xbox One X 4K videos of the essential part of the game: the multiplayer. Of course our legendary skills are in action in the following footage. :)

I’ve been watching vids comparing this to the pc running ultra settings. Its really just amazing how you can barely tell any difference and it’s a $500 system with a 4K blu Ray player. Finally Microsoft is doing something right for the gamers.

Yes, the Xbox One X is a really great proposition cost x benefit wise. Even for people with 1080p screens, the performance and/or visual upgrades are something worth considering.

As for the game, it looks and sounds stunning. But it's a DICE game and they're some of the best developers when it comes to visual and sound effects, so no surprise there. The first game and Battlefield 1 are also like that with both supporting Dolby Atmos.

The GPU in it is comparable with a GTX1070, so it's no surprise it's very close to current highend PC graphics capabilities..

Only downside to it is, I see no real reason to buy one when I already own a highend gaming PC since all the Xbox "exclusive" games are also released on Windows 10.. That's the problem for this console I think, lack of games that make you buy it.. I did get a PS4 Pro earlier this year because that does have very good games I cannot play on my PC, like all the Naughtydog games or Horizon Zero Dawn etc.. With PC and PS4 I have all I want and need when it comes to gaming.. The 4K Bluray support is good though, that might sell it to a few people with a 4K TV, no idea why Sony skipped on that..

About that game, I got it on pre-order on PC.. Not in a million years you will find me play a multiplayer PvP shooter on a console.. Just look at the horrible aiming in these videos to understand why.. SP and co-op shooters on a console, sure, but for multiplayer I really need a mouse+keyboard for that, so PC only..

Ya when you already have a high end PC... throwing down $500 to get to the level of your rig for nothing new

Honestly they should simply have a standard resolution and have ultra settings. Something like 1440P for the X and 1080P on the Pro both using ultra settings. Now days the first thing to do is to google about the resolution lol. Having said that gfx are great irrespective of the resolution. Apparently the game is 1296 to 1440P on the Pro and 1800P on the X.

I agree. I’d rather see ultra settings with upscale 4K than native 4K and lesser settings. But I’m glad too see the one x running high to ultra settings so often.
