Microsoft sent us a beta key for Halo Reach and we of course recorded a long gameplay session for quite a few upcoming videos. Let's start with the Covi Slayer mode, quite a different one from the usual in terms of gameplay thanks to the major speed and movement boosts of the Elites, making the gameplay much faster. So far it seems like a not so popular mode since we only managed to play it once in three hours, so we could only record this one session where our friend Zepitou playing here had to discover everything, so I decided to leave it uncut for you guys to really see how different it can feel.

Now that you've got your hands on it in a better setting (as i dont think the conditions were that great for the preview) what are your fresh impressions of the visuals?
It'd also be nice to hear the impressions of the beta from the community here that have early entry. How it plays, how the net codes holding up ect
Also the way an explosion makes you go partially deaf in game is a great little effect :)
is it me or does it seem like unreal tournament. everything is faster

guess I'll wait for the full game.
The "active rooster" is a feature from Halo 2 which brings back the "Y Button in-game Friendslist" and you can jump in to their partys. Its much faster than checking every gamercard via guide button. But that doesn't mean that you can join running matches.
Maybe this works for campaign but yeah, no info so far.

At the very least there should be a bot option offered to fill emptied games
