Battlefield 3 aside, this game looks promising to me. Can't wait to see how well the Crytek 3 engine performs on a console (can't afford a PC to run it right now)

still not sold. one minute they show footage that looks awesome gameplay wise, and then you see footage where the screen tearing and framerate look like ass, and the AI looks braindead. why is there no consistency? i dont think we're going to know what this really looks like untill it's actually released.
This game is going to be epic. They are showing some great trailers for past some weeks.
With my G92b Geforce GTS 250 1GB under VistaSP2 I am able to max out settings and Crysis 1 is fully playable in its full glory unless you enable AA/AF thats where you will want a GTX 580 where its been confirmed you can max it out unless you go beyond 1080p resolution and you are only interested in bragging...
Crysis 2 is obviously a multiplatform game, the console versions are expected, estimated to at least be 720p resolution and graphics are going to be limited to Microsoft's proprietary Dx9 hardware compliance, its obvious PC will be a higher Dx spec but until its released and tested and exposed I really have no faith in believing that the game will actually require a Dx11 card for required Tesselation which to me requires the 3d engine to be written from scratch instead of an on/off switch most PC gamers are marketed to believe in.
If it does turn out to require a Dx11 card get ready for benchmarks exposing how you will need three years from now graphics cards...to enable AA/AF.
There may be a difference in precision but it's nothing you can actually see, except maybe the object based motion blur having a step effect compared to DX10's utter smoothness.
As far as I know that is something that only DX10 and above can accomplish (on PC hardware).
