Developer Diary Xbox 360 PS3

Electronic Arts released the third developer diary of Dante's Inferno, about of course the third Circle of Hell: Gluttony. Don't expect to be hungry after that one.

I must say I find it kinda disturbing this circle to be honest almost like they are pushing it too far,its suposed to be fun playing the game not feeling sick and throwing up every 5 minutes.

I have no problem with it whatsoever its just an observation.

Wow!

I'm impressed... Not necessarily in a good or bad way but man, that's freaking disgusting and scary.

God of War looks like a walk in the park with Little Red Riding Hood compared to this.

Technically and artistically, despite of personal taste, the talent is clearly visible.

The attacks and all looks decent for such a genre.
But the art and concept and story is what I like about this one, samething with God of War.

I love ancient greek myths and God of War is the right game. Got accessable combat, great story, visuals, vistas and music...only thing I dont like is the design of Kratos.

But ah well, I can't wait to buy GOW3 for its epic scale and such, with Dante's Inferno, so far it looks good, but I need to see much more before I go yay or nay, demo never hurts.

i think with the material they're using theres alot more room for creativity in level design.. certainly, like they say, to have each level looking marginally different from that last..and more importantly different to whats been seen in other games

Very true. The graphics are starting to come together, and they're showing stuff that's actually presentable.

this game will probably fill the void between its release date and the God of war release. cool graphics, cool environments, and cool bad guys,, nothing is mind blowing, just the shock value! i'll probably give it a play

I know it's not from the same team as Dead Space, but geez, this development house sure know how to pump out some quality games that give the genre defining franchaises a run for their money.
Dead Space was arguably very close to Resi 5 for quality, and easily beat it in terms of the scare factor and gameplay controls.
This also looks another quality game, really defining the word "Hell" and throwing in some really interest varities of level design.
I'm pumped for God of War 3, but this is right up there with it based on what I've seen from both games.

No not really. The best in the genre is still NG (IMO nothing can beat this) and DMC, and Dante's Inferno's combat is good, but truly not polished and fluid as the ones I mentioned.
If anything, it's close to God of War and Darksiders, mostly God of War.
