A new trailer for Dead Space 2 has been released. It extends the game story with the addition of two stand-alone single-player chapters. It will be available March 1 worldwide on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Network in North America for $6.99 or 560 MS Points and March 2 on the PlayStation Network in Europe.

3 multiplayer maps =/= 800MSP.
This looks DLC looks to be more of the same great stuff that makes DS2, good job =)
I guarantee you it took more time and money to produce these two chapters than it did 3 multiplayer maps.
The only reason map packs cost so much for games like Halo and CoD is because they have enormous fan bases. And a large portion of those people are willing to pay whatever Microsoft/Activison want to charge for them.
I'm not going to buy a game that's four hours long. I'm certainly not going to pay for a few chapters for 1-2 hours of additional game play unless I'm really into the game.
Maps will get countless plays that vary every single time. Seems more appealing to me and doesn't seem like a ridiculous statement.

Anyway, Lexine and Gabe. Didn't see that coming.
