I...am surprised that the characters actually don't look better than Halo 5. this looks a whole lot like the first game. and almost half of the trailer is CG, not gameplay.

It seems Bungie has grown weary of making cutting edge games this past decade. I wonder why, this would have been the perfect title to best Halo 5 and Killzone... There is no denying Bungie's talented heritage of many years ago. shame.

Bungie... cutting edge? Because they made a bunch of slightly above average looking 30 fps Xbox games? Come on now...

Yes it's great that it's finally on pc and all, which is a big change actually for Bungie. and they're doing pc a great service with support and 60fps. I guess i didn't see it that way.

I just mean from the technical bar they set with Halo 2. they set a really high bar there for themselves back then. RE4 was the only other game i thought could beat it.

Halo 3 had great physics but Halo 4 was inconceivable in Xbox 360's lifespan. It proved something was up with Bungie. the gap difference between Halo 3 and 4 was major, to this day.

60fps.
You're selling the platform short. 144hz g-sync or bust :D

I don't really agree with this stuff. I don't think bungie ever wowed me technically, and they had far less competition in the genre on consoles when Halo started. There were definitely other Xbox 1 and Xbox 360 games that look better than Halo. And wait... were you blown away by Halo 4's graphics? Why?

The leap between Reach and Halo 4.. not so grand. And personally I like the look of Reach more. It has more consistent art direction. I think 343 got significantly better at everything with Halo 5.

Their choice to target this spec (30 fps) is disappointing but I'm not surprised.

It used over 200 blendshapes (300 short of Ryse) for facial animation and it was all in game.

Halo Reach did not use blenshapes but rather traditional bone joints found in many last gen titles. .....just curious to know which game on xbox 360 had better facial tech that wasn't already in Halo 4.

So can it even sustain 30 FPS on a original PS4 pro at 1080P or are they going to have to run it at some dynamic resolution.....

I will be purchasing for the PC if I can stomach the thought of death by DLC.

why wouldn't it? basic PS4 version of destiny is 1080p 30fps Vsync'd. it's not like this looks much better graphically.

Wait.. are you talking about the UI? Because you've got this totally backwards. No Man's Sky copied Destiny's UI.

probably 1440p @30 fps? or 1080p supper sampled. plain 1080p 30 fps would be a down right ripoff for ps4 pro.

red grass and blue-greenish color filter comes to mind. same stuff in no man's sky.

@ above it's been confirmed to be 4k for ps4 pro, so that pretty much answers why it's at 30 fps and with same old visuals.
