I'm way to used to Ps3-quality graphics. (Yes I shouldn't whine about it ;) )

Dare I say Double Dash looks better than this?

Really also quite disappointing that this game doesn't really look like it's seen any new features other than bikes and online play. =/

Well, it's not particularly impressive. Then again the only Wii game that ever impressed me was Wii sports and after the novelty wore off after about 30 minutes, that didn't impress much either.

Mario kart feels really old by now, the gameplay is the same as in mario kart 64, except for the snaking basically :P (ps. of course i haven't tried this, so i cant comment on the specifics about this game but it's the same with every other freaking Mario Kart game so i'm assuming that this will do few things different)

I dunno. I see some pretty decent post processing effects that were definetly not possible on the Gamecube.

Not sure what happened, it looked great in previous screens and scans. Mario Galaxy was so impressive, I'm not sure why this doesn't look as good or better. Regardless the game will be near perfect from what I can tell, and it'll have everything a Mario Kart game needs to have, including online play and bikes.

Why spend money and time on graphics when developers know by now that anything on the Wii will sell, especially Mario. I see it everyday at Gamestop. Slap his stupid face on a box and kids go nuts.

nintendo is capable of so much better art, hopefully they havn't crippled their studios talent for next gen, their concept art probably dwarfs this in preparation of making this low res game, but than I'm buying it for the gameplay to, not like there is comparable offering to mario kart on other platforms.

He didn't scream. He simply put an exclamation mark (!) at the end of his sentence.

Let's all disregard a legendary series because the graphics aren't "NEXT GEN"
With the way people BITCH on here about graphics every day I'm pretty sure you'd have to see Mario's pores or every hair in his mustache to satisfy you people

Now there's someone here starting to understand it. Each generation of Nintendo console and games has always been built for new consumers, not us. It doesn't bother me, but it obviously bothers others.

You guys think that if this game had Crysis level graphics, it would suddenly be a great game? But as it is, it's not worth considering? Some of you guys are morons, and I hope in time you come to realise that.

And comparing a game you've seen in motion and actually played, to a few screencaps is hardly a fair comparasion. Look at any next gen game, and I think you'll find all of them tend to look a lot better in motion, than they do in screenshots.
