I still find Dirt 2 to be the most visually pleasing racing game so far this gen for a couple diff reasons. I hope they can up the bar even more this time around and I'm really looking forward to the more varied locals and such.
The physics might not be that brilliant but the overall fun factor for the first two was high enough to make it a worth while experience IMO.

Let's hope this is less "extreme!!!!! attitude" crap and more focused on what makes racing so much fun.

It seems to me like they've gone a bit too crazy/fake with the body roll of the cars. We'll have to wait and see I guess.

You've got that from these images? (Just because I don't think that can be judged from them since you don't really know what action is going on)

Anyway I'm sure this will be another great entry in the series, especially now that they have added more rally events.

never been a fan of the style of codemasters games, bloom central with some crappy de-saturation filter. and the less said about their office chair handling the better. but the promise of more REAL rally has me intrigued enough to rent it.

I'm definately with UKHardcore tho, i hope it's not as 'meh' as DiRT 2 was. and please, for the love of god, drop the yank commentators praising or slating you ever 5 minutes. and ditch the crappy extreme veneer DiRT 2 had. DiRT 1 was clean and stylish in it's presentation. DiRT2 looked like some 12 year old skaterboy designed it.

The reflections in F1 2010 are absolutely gorgeous, however.

Haven't had time to play that one. I realize Dirt 2 isn't the best on a technical level, I just really like the style and effects they use to give certain locals such a great look to them.

I know the bloom and such isn't for everyone, I just personally really like the way it all comes together. Some tracks aren't so great, but some are just stunning IMO.
