If you like CG trailers you may want to take a look at this one made for Devil May Cry as the game will be out in 10 days for consoles and on January 25th for PC.
The only thing that would miff me about the game is that the last ones was on the MT Framework engine and this one is on the shitty shit shit Unreal 3 engine that started showing its age on over 90% games since late 2007/early 2008.
That is the only thing about this game that is garbage.
For this developer to go from a still incredible looking proprietary engine on PS3 in 2007 to this crap since Enslaved is beyond me.
Game has top notch acting and the story is probably very good too, maybe.

money ... simple ... UE works cross platform, while MT like you said is system specific and more time consuming. That also validates your point as well - more time spent on a thing means it's crafted better - but perhaps that doesn't hold in gaming.
As a person who has not played any of the Devil May Cry games, I though this trailer was pretty cool and I thought the line "My name is Dante" with "Froced Closed" stamped on the head by a punch to the face was pretty bad ass lol
If this game was intended to lure new players to the series. I don't know how it's working.
That whole trailer didn't really tell much of a story to me. In fact if I didn't know who Dante was or knew anything about the DMC universe I'd think that Dante was an ass.
The demo helped clear my fear of the gameplay. As for the story, I think Ninja Theory does interesting things with story so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I was very surprised actually since NT usually arent very good with gameplay so theres that.
