Crytek decided to show off a bit by releasing this gameplay video of Crysis 2 running on console. Not only can we have a better idea of what to expect graphically speaking, but it also shows several approaches to beat AI soldiers.

I love Crysis 2!

Awesome graphics, great fun gameplay, fantastic music, just awesome all around.

But there is one problem...why the fuck is Crytek showing off XBOX 360 gameplay again!?
Why are they holding back PS3 version? Stop favoring the 360 so much damn and show equal respect on all 3 platforms.
I will be pissed if PS3 version is crap in comparison.

Wouldn't go that far, but it does look very good and plays very good too. They should've shown the PS3 version by now, though. That and this whole leak business isn't proving too good for them, a lot of complaints about the graphics - there are console settings in it and it appears the game doesn't look as good as they promised - far from best console graphics, anyway.

Well... First one is quite a looker already, don't expect anything new graphics-wise, but damn they really need to improve on gameplay, story, characters.... Ugh... On everything else except graphics! Including physics. Wtb more destructible environments, some cool stuff like exploding ammo if you throw it in fire (like in Far Cry 2) and more enemies.

Wow I know it will look better on PC but that is looking damn fine on the console version. Even if the MP is not up to much then at least it looks like a solid and pretty SP experience.

For once a FPS on console that is not on rails and you can decide if you want to play with stealth or by shooting everything in sight!!

Hope MP is improved in the final thing but the SP is at least looking a worthy purchase as I much suspected it would be, nice!!

I'm gonna tell you now just so you don't get your hopes up too much: the environments are much less destructive than Crysis 1 and the physics have received a downgrade (can't throw objects in water and they float, can only interact with a limited number of objects now, walking into any object doesn't move it etc.) Ammo doesn't explode but there's a lot more going on at once now.

I thought the powers was good implemented especially with the modifications you can do on the fly, but one thing that annoys me is how you can't even sprint normally without using the energy. And if the energy is empty you cant sprint at all.
The speed sprint isnt even that fast like Crysis 1 was, I dont like that, pretty much the only thing about the changes with the suit I dislike.

screens dont look too hot, but the footage looked very nice. if they fix the pop-in it'll look even better (there are rocks appearing litterally 3 ft in front of you). in two minds about actually buying this. the multiplayer hold no interest for me but i'm sure i'll enjoy the single player. there is a lot out this year tho so it might be relagated to the rental que...reviews will hold the answer i guess.

Still doesnt hurt one bit to show off one simple gameplay footage like this, yet they still refuse.

Saying something is identical is one thing, but to show it off is a dirrent thing.
Devs pull that PR crap stunt too many times these days for me not to take them seriously.

I want to see it, I am paying my money to you them and I dont want a shitty version of the game while 360 owners are paying the same price and yet they get better versions.
