Anthem is certainly the most awe inspiring title of Microsoft's press conference visually (with Ori 2 maybe). So it was logical it would be our top priority to encode out of our brand new 4K capture hardware. Enjoy!

And Thank you for the footages.
Anthem is being made by BioWare's A Team. When the player transitioned from air to water, and then back to air. I immediately thought with myself, this is everything that Mass Effect: Andromeda was supposed to have been. In a way, it's an evolution.
The fact that it is in 4K probably means that it was played in a extreme high-end PC or Xbox One X. Doesn't look "unnaturally" gorgeous like the first trailer for Watch Dogs 1 or Tom Clancy's The Division. Plus, just a year or year and a half away from release, provided that it isn't delayed.
Best game of the show so far for me, even more than A Way Out and Star Wars: Battlefront 2 - wjich had a great demo match. EA sure brought the thunder for this year's E3. Even their Sports games looked very nice. Now we just need Dead Space reboot or 4 - I just want more Dead Space.
PS. BlimBlim, any chance we can get a single file on torrent? Unless there's no problem joining the parts with a video editor.
"Yes of course! The game is designed so you can enjoy an amazing BioWare story and explore an incredible open world alone or with friends."

So it will have a lot of focus on Story, lore and characters. And you will also be able to play it solo. Or with friends.
PS. There's already a Anthem Reddit, in case you guys want more details.

This might be game of show at this point.
I miss playing Bioware games, hopefully this lives up to the hype now

Believe it or not Windows Media Player does really well.
If it looks to good to be true, it probably is.

"On behalf of the team at BioWare, let's see what this game looks like. Running on a Xbox One X."
And the demo had the following message:
"Everything you are about to see was captured in-game running in real-time."
As for if it's true or not, only Microsoft, EA and BioWare know. But I believe they weren't lying, because Microsoft has caught some flak in the past for having PCs running demos at E3 which said they were running on Xbox One.
Not to mention that video with PC footage of a game, which I can't remember which now, which said that everything was captured running on a Xbox One. And when everyone found out, they changed the video and apologized.
Still, no way to know if it's true or not. Though they know, they know that when the game gets released, people will compare footage of the final version with this E3 demo. Just like they did with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Tom Clancy's The Division, Watch Dogs, etc. Perhaps they don't care as long as it generates enough hype and win "Best of E3" awards.
At least it will look this good on PC, of that I'm vertain. Dragon Age: Inquisition looked gorgeous sometimes, even at 1080p, and it was released in 2014. In 2018, with all the improvements the Frostbite engine has received and at 4K, it will probably look even better than this.
As for these 4K videos, I'm running them at 60fps - double their framerate, which uses much more resources - using Mirillis Splash without a single hitch. Even "Nex Machina's PSX 2016 Trailer" at 4K60fps with that insane 264 MB bitrate ran fine.
For those experiencing problems running 4K videos, Mirillis Splash might help since it uses mostly the GPU instead of mainly the CPU to run videos. Any GPU from the GeForce 600 series and up should handle it fine. Mirillis Splash also has a 30-day free trial for those interested.
