The most touching and mindblowing teaser/trailer I have seen in years. Hopefully in the terms of story it will be what I'm expecting it to be.

I was always getting this subtle vibe of human-nature interactions in Kojima's games ( among with Aeris Death, Sniper Wolf is still the most touching scene in video games ) I really, really hope that this time Kojima will go wild and bring something long time forgotten - the art of compassion and also much needed respect for nature. Just hoping...

What about Otacon's sister? I thought they topped it with that one. And with her you spent the last hour with her.
Then Big Boss at the graveyard at the end of MGS3 was amazing too because you understand along with him the crap they made him do involving Boss. If you press R1 when he is saluting the grave, you get a 1st person view and it is obscured because of the tears in his eyes :(
In MGSIV, Meryl marries Johnny, GODAMN IT, ruined it. :)

Oh I get you, the nature thing with the Irish language song The Best is Yet to Come and the wolves and the snow is what you mean in MGS1. I guess the room with that really annoying parrot in MGS2 doesn't top that.

Kind of spooky. Will be interesting to see what it turns out to be like. I mean, knowing Kojima this could all be some weird symbolism and it turns out to be a re-hash of P.T or something. Or something completely new. Who knows.

I bet the title is an anagram for something else. Death Stranding? Wtf is that supposed to mean?

I have 0 attachment to Kojima, I'll say that first of all

So an oddly modeled naked Norman Reedus that implies he was pregnant and had a baby removed from his stomach seems kinda stupid to me
Not just pretentious, dumb

I'm coming at this from the casual perspective I guess. I'm not a give my first born to Kojima person

Yeah, I don't have any kind of attachment towards him either. I find it a bit strange how people revere him so much, and it was funny how everyone sort of decided to hate Konami because they sacked him. I mean, for all we know, the man could have just been a massive asshole and they said cheerio.

Anyway, I've no problem with weirdness in computer games. Weirdness is good. It's creative and thinking outside the box. I'm wondering what engine this is running on. Is it Fox? Do Komani possess the sole rights to that, or can Kojima use it if he wants? Outside that, it's probably UE4. It looks good.

I cried seeing Kojima back on stage and received an standing ovation. This is my game of the show. This trailer is so rich in philosophical symbolism, It instantly hooked me in. The trailer symbolized death and rebirth.. I feel that infant was the manifestation of Norman Reedus character being reborn..into spirit, then it vanishes. I was especially curious about the 5 beings high up in the sky. Also the oceans and shoreline covered in dead marine life. Just looking at the trailer makes me feel I'm unlocking some profound hidden truth. Needless to say, I love this. Thank you for posting.

In continuation on my analysis of this trailer...Reedus character seems to be in some sort of outer world, which makes sense given the title: "Death Stranding"...to be standing stranded in limbo. Perhaps he needs to seek those 5 mysterious beings in the sky as a means to escape from being in limbo. Perhaps each one has an different trial for him to complete.

When you say, "kojima game" are you implying he wrote, directed, produced, designed, edited, coded, and built from the ground up? Also, what?... If you actually think those shitty Metal Gear solid games are anything other than Japanese eccentric non-sense for the sake of being non-sense, who is your dealer and how much per gram?...

Next you're going to tell me Chan Park is not just a shock directing hack.

honestly, given his hands on approach to the MGS games, he did probably do the first 5 things on that list. lol
