That tunnel effect is a bit too strong.
Other than that it looks pretty nice.

YES! this is gonna be just what the racing genre needs. A good racer that looks gorgeous and scales from full simulation to arcade fun. Something for everyone. Can't fucking wait.

The graphics quality have dropped since the last trailer. This looks a litte more comparable to the stuff that's out currently which is a bit disappointing. Hopefully it plays well though. I'll look for your report on that guys.

Haha. Ramming someone in a Lamborghini is both hilarious and awesome.

I agree with spydaweb though... for some reason the graphics seem a lot more average now.

Definitely the best looking racer, except for Dirt2 which seems it's going to destroy anything out there from a visual standpoint (too bad the gameplay will suck).

This looks like fun, but the last 3 NFS games have left me extremely cautious...

hahahaha! It didn't suck at all! I played it at 1680 x 1050 with 4X AA, max settings at 60 FPS and the game was locked at 30fps on 360. Try again chump. PC versions are always superior (except for Saint Row 2 rofl)

I think I'll dispell this myth by uttering the dreaded words Resident Evil 4. Hmm, that's just one example by the way.

Ummm... Pretty sure he wasn't refering to the graphics, which weren't even a problem on consoles anyway. It was the control and physics which were terrible on all systems.

Just wait til next week for the Forza 3 unvieling at E3. Hope it has an incar view this time!

Shift better tone down that damn blur effect or it's gonna completely ruin the immersion and experience.

They've stated before that they're incapable of creating interiour views with that "many cars" (which 4 out of 5 are copy paste anyway). It's "impossible" according to the guys at Turn10...

Ha, they prolly said that so that when they announce the in-car view, it will "shock" the audience. On topic, they need to talk to the team that is doing FNR4 for how to take care of the aliasing- it was perfect in that game( yeah, I know there is less going on, but still)...

Uh, that was LAST TIME. They better not give that asshole excuse this time around.

As for Shift, the graphics don't look as awesome as they once did, but they do look great nonetheless. The real problem is that I saw a few weird physics movement in that trailer, so it better not disappoint in the whole point of the game.

If thats the case, they should instantly stop developing it. Seriously.

@topic:
The gameplay at NFS does not look that bad this time around.
You can notice pretty realistic looking oversteering and stuff...

Oh shit, Im loving this game so much already. I hope the cars actually sound like that in the game. The car list isn't spectacular but its ok. Its the usual suspects. But it looks sooooooo much better than the last bunch of NFS games. Last good one I can remember, was Porsche Unleashed.

I really hope they dropped all the crappy street racing culture for Shift. A solid racing game is the only thing I want. Nothing more, nothing less.

This game is being made by some ex-GTR developers right? I haven't tried the GTR series yet, but I heard they were pretty hardcore in the sim area, got some pretty good reviews, and is one of the best driving/racing games around.

Guess this means we can expect a really good game out of this. If I remember, I also read that this game is going to have even more realistic control than the GTR games? Not sure though..
