To say that The Last of Us Part II is highly anticipated is quite an understatement, but judging from yesterday's video, it is well worth the wait. Be careful if you haven't seen it yet though, the level of violence shown here has reached new heights, especially with such image quality. For now, all we have is the 1080p version though.
Update: Added an image gallery.
Update 2: Watermark-free video added.

The transition from a nice quite moment and then going back to it at the end with ellie smiling was great. The new woman (Dina) is definitely gonna be a big part as to why ellie goes nuts and wants to kill this cult
I am so freaking excited for this game, it can't come soon enough. :)
when will you add 4K ?
In terms of gameplay ? Let's not jump on the hypetrain and be honest here for a second: ND delivers nothing exciting. Same procedure as every ND game.
I mean... can they NOT bore me to death with their generic cover shooter + hide-and-seek BS ? zzzZZZzzzZZZ
as for who the woman was in that previous trailer...i guess it all depends on when it's set. but it's really hard to gauge. the cult has been established even at that point so it can't be immediately after the fungal infaction hit. and yet the way the kid in that trailer calls the clickers "demons" implies things are new and an established naming for these infected hasn't been made yet? they also seem to use bows which might mean it's WAY past the events of the first game and as resources have dwindled things have reverted to more tribalistic weaponry. i think you're right, i think i might actually be an older Ellie.
Or one can remember the staged TLOU trailer where Ellie and Joel engaged scavengers inside hotel in a very cinematic fashion but it all ended up being just a E3 build, if not in-engine prerendered video with interface overlay, which is exactly what TLOU2 gameplay looked like.
They can't keep getting away with it.webm
This game is intended for adults only, that is completely clear. Unless someone has mental problems and gets easily influenced by "fictional" violence, they will be fine. That's the style of games Sony likes to make and I applaud them for it.
Let's not allow overly sensitive - and very silly - people to take that away from us in Games as they mostly did with nudity, because for some reason the human body is ugly and sex is forbidden to depict in a 18+ game. Really looking forward to TLoU2 and Ellie kicks ass.
And honestly, I love that she's gay!
