Trailer Xbox 360 PS3

Ubisoft closed their pre-E3 press conference with the first moving images of Assassin's Creed 2. The film, here shot in HD with the mighty Canon 5D MarkII, is entirely in CGI, but it is really worth a look.

I said the same thing about the first game's trailer... then I played it. Let's hope this one will have more variety.

That was some of the best CGI I have ever seen. Seriously.

The Star Wars Bioware game was better cgi-wise

Still impressive though

This trailer was the biggest disappointment at the Ubisoft presser.

Knowing the game will be out in November, and getting a look at the game engine in April's Game Informer, only hyped people for the realtime experience in motion . . . and all we got for almost two months of anticipation, was a frakking lousy ass CGI trailer. Judging by the photos that were published a couple months back, seeing the actual game in action, even in a pre-scripted trailer format, would have been light years better than watching some crummy CGI trailer.

Ubisoft, you have failed once me more. You will not fail me again.

Big disappointment, I agree. And the joke is: I've watched the very same trailer before their conference and was waiting for more (as is seemed just a teaser for some revealing), but instead I got this one again after a two hour wait at 4 am.

Everytime I see CG instead of actual gameplay it reminds of 90s. All these visualizations were good back then (microcosm on CD32 with its cinematic cutscenes lol ) but now they're just silly. Gimme gameplay movies UbI.

They have some of, if not, the best CG animation next to Capcom Japan (Resident Evil) and Square's (Final Fantasy) people. This is game should be the bee's knees.

We get guns? Cool. I wonder if that replaces the throwing knives.

Again they found a very cool setting for this game, the 1st was already awesome in the middle-east, and now Venice, all in the middle-ages.. Not settings you see often in videogames, and surely not as beautifull with awesome realistic graphics.. I just hope they added a bit more depth and variation in the gameplay and missions, then this game might be a 'killer'..
