GSY Video PC Xbox 360 PS3

In a few days, Assassin's Creed Unity will be out in the open and we thought it would be the perfect timing to look back on the seven years that have gone by since the release of the first episode. Six games that we decided to capture one last time on PC to make these two retrospective videos. If you have ever wondered how far the series has come graphically, now is your chance.

After a very disappointing - understatement - first DLC, Ubisoft is about to release Bonfire of the Vanities, the last extension of Assassin's Creed 2. This second DLC will allow the player to discover a whole area of Florence that was locked in the original game, which some of you will certainly find very convenient. Will it be worth the price this time? Well, I guess we will find out soon enough as it is planned for release on February 18.

Tomorrow the very first downloadable content for Assassin's Creed 2 will be released. For the price of 320 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live or $3.99 on PSN, you will finally have access to sequence 12, one of the two missing sequences in Ezio's original adventure. Some will obviously bitch about the fact that it should have been included before the game was released but those who consider the game was full of content as it was and who really enjoyed it probably won't mind paying a few bucks more. Hopefully, it will be good enough to keep players interesting in the second DLC coming up in February.

GSY Review Xbox 360 PS3

The first Assassin's Creed will stay in memories as one of the prime examples of this generation's games. An overly ambitious title, with incredible graphics marred by a truly repetitive gameplay and many technical issues. To say that Assassin's Creed 2 was awaited with cautiousness is an understatement. Did this new episode fix all the problems of the first one? Read on for the answer!
Update: Ubisoft sent us the launch trailer of the game, it fits nicely with this review I guess.

Assassin's Creed 2 will be released very soon now and this week, we were invited to play the preview code of the game for four full hours. Well aware that the first game did not offer enough variety, the guys at Ubisoft Montreal knew they would have to deliver a good-looking game packed with a lot more content this time around. To find out if they have a good chance of succeeding, follow me inside.
