As you could have guessed knowing my obsession with racing games, we have a lot more videos of Forza Motorsport 3 coming until the games's release in 2 weeks. Today you guys will feast your eyes on a full replay of a lap around Rally di Positano in a Fiat 500, some Drag Racing that I don't think I'll ever understand and a full lap around the Nürburgring in 2 parts, where I removed a few rewinds without trying to be too stealthy :)

Not sure about drag racing though. Still I'm tempted to pickup a 360 for this and gta dlc.
=)
I've no idea why everybody places something thats a CHOICE to use as a negative against the game. You may as well downgrade every fps on the pc for having the "quick save key" temptation.
Its a feature that simply means its accessable to all, and allows you to learn from your mistakes when, and as, you make them. Its a huge plus in towards the game.

And Racing on the Nurburing with the game limit of 8? cars... a joke.. you'll be lost with a mile between each car after a long race. Kinda sad.
And I like Forza, at least the handling seems improved with the new tyre model and cockpits are something that just should have been in the first game.
They need to hire some lighting artists/photographers and 3D artists, game looks sterile and cartoony as ever lacking basic tone mapping/color mapping.
Rewind is a big plus plus
It's really more of an evolution (which is good still) than any kind of revolution the Devs have been trying to claim it is in the marketing spiel. With proper art direction and some serious shader programmers they could probably make the game look 3x better in a few months.
An official request from the Honda Prelude Club France !
Off course that's only for the people who are playing on the higher levels. But for me, mostly playing without any assists, it's a big, big letdown.
The movies look pretty cool, although I still think Turn10's tracks can be livened up a bit more. It still feels a bit "cold". And your driving's not too shabby Blim
Please let the developers know if you disagree about the mandatory aut-rev sequence at the start of a race by leaving a reply in this thread on the official Forza 3 forums:

I'm not even that good at racing game and still I've only used rewind when purposing crashing into cars just for fun. Hell, I've never used the suggested line in all three Forza games. Hating on an OPTION is plain stupid. In fact, Turn 10 should be given credit for adding more "options" to their game. It gives everyone a chance to have fun.
On a side note, with the Lancer in the demo, I'm only 3 seconds off from the best time on the leaderboards (no penalties). I'm average at racing games, so the whole "forza 3 makes you a worse driver theory" is going to go unheard. I'm usually at the button of the leaderboards.
I actually love the option, as I hate the really long racers towards the end of Forza 2 if you had a ton of good laps and then ruined it on the final lap by getting a little too cocky and taking a turn to hard into the dirt. One simple mistake shouldn't make you repeat 30 to 40 mintues of a race. I get too easily frustrated in long races if I mess up at the end, this feature will save me from smashing my controller if I fuck up the final lap by making one silly mistake.
If you don't like the option...don't use it. I will say though, I hope that using the rewind feature does eliminate your time from the top score lists, as that is pretty damn unfair.
Blim -- you're a monster. You had my heart racing watching those replays!
Whatever criticisms against F3 . . . Turn10 sure as hell know how to make it fun.
What about metric vs imperial systems? In Forza 2 if you chose Metric (to see km/h when racing) the horsepower reading in the menus became replaced by kw's.. Is there any way to have km/h AND horsepower displayed?
As for the cockpit view many ppl are dissapointed with because of how rigid it is, i wouldnt be surprised if Turn 10 releases a patch on release day that allows you to set a "camera shake" value, from 1-10 or something, increasing the camera movement in cockpit view.
I'm sure its just a .ini file value or something, as many other games have the same sort of thing. The entire cockpits are modelled anyway so there's no "oops dont look there" reason not to enable such an option =)
