GSY Video PC Xbox One

The promise of new drivers is always something to hold on to when a game does not perform as well as it should, and the release this afternoon of Nvidia's latest ones has proved us right. While we were experiencing quite severe stuttering issues this morning, even at 1080p, our time on the game with the new drivers has been 99% smooth with DSR 1440p. The (minor) drops are now really rare, and they have no negative impact on the experience. We can now say we are relieved for all those who are eargerly waiting for the PC version to unlock on Friday (Ultimate Edition only obviously). If you need proof, simply check out the video inside.
Note: Let us remind everyone that 60 fps racing games don't look very good in streamed videos, even when using our stream, which is way better than YouTube. That's why we advise you to take the time to download the file.

PC used for capture: i7 6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 Go RAM (DDR4), Windows 10, Nvidia GTX 1080 Founder's Edition MSI

Only watched the stream, not blown away by the graphics, but I don't mind average graphics if it looks nice which I don't think it does largely due (a fault I notice in many games) to the mono-colour foliage have these developers never been to a forest every species of tree and shrub have different shades of green leaves even copper or blue-green yellow-green plus most of them have fruit, nuts or/and flowers that's ignoring herbaceous plants and climbers etc. I don't expect them to study botany but real life foliage looks much more varied and it doesn't require high end graphics its just colour.

Get as many followers as possible to expand the festival. To have more followers, you must win races and events. Not very deep, story-wise. :)

Something definitely seems up with the pc version. the video encoding is great and the frame rate doesn't seem to be the issue either.

However the environment lighting, draw distance, shadow draw distance, and the vehicle clear coat somehow feel lackluster compared to the Xb1 videos.

My mind could be playing tricks on me and the pc version could be the same as xb1... but in this video and in the other pc videos, something about it feels a little bland and lackluster.

weird, it almost looks as if the game is not rendering 1080p but less. With Quantum Break it was the same I think. I know the video is 1080 (and even with DSR...) but something feels weird about the pixel ratio. IS it like that in the game as well? Maybe some kind of awful grain filter? I always download videos so i can't be related to the stream.

Hum, I downloaded the files too and the image is sharp when the video is displayed in its native size (1080p), I own a 1440p screen so fullscreen 1080p videos tend to be a bit blurry, but in real size it's really sharp.

I don't think there's a grain filter either, sky is really smooth and not grainy.

You guys are imagining something. Lighting is exactly the same across both versions. It's just that the noon-light in this video is not very flattering. Here, have a comparison. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dDG2R1yIuHU

There does seem to be a bit of shadow pop up, but I think that's rather common in an open environment like this.
