Xbox 360 PS3

Midway did this long great walkthrough video of Stranglehold, showing some great interesting stuff. The game will be released next year, so the wait will be long and painful.

Holy crap, its got more stunts than Just Cause =O! Looks like that Eight Days game running in real time to me. I loved Max Payne and this looks better. Can't wait to play this game. I didn't see too many melee attacks. I'd like to be able to bust out some Jet Li moves when I get closer.

Wow, that was awesome !

But still, i miss Max Payne's atmosphere and Noir story type.

Keep up the good work.

If you have to ask that question with this game, you migh aswell ask this with every 3rd person shooter, or even any shooter for that matter.
I mean, this game has plenty more to offer than most shooters out there, if anything, this should be one of the least repetitve shooters out there, unless the enviroments are too much alike.

This really looks good and looks like a lot of fun, a hell of a lot of fun actually!
That said, I can't believe the lack of attention this game is getting, they really need to start hyping this game a bit more..!

It's a good thing the game has a while to go. It looks like a ton of fun, but there is definitely a ton of work left to be done on those animations.

Sweet show indeed. Stranglehold is really shaping up to be something special. The intereraction with the environment is really what is setting this off from the competition.

I want this more than gears. This is the next-gen max payne we never got.

And with only select few games doing this much dynamic physics, its like one generation of console spans four generations of hardware. The way some devs put hardware to good use and others dont just gets more polarized every year.

And longevity? I'll be playing each of those scenarios over and over for hours just like I did with max payne. The physics give millions of random possibilities one more spectacular than the other. ME LIKE!

I think we was talking about the actual gunplay. Also the slow-mo stuff might get a little annoying after a while.

Is it all gunplay? I'd like some hand-to-hand combat in there as well.

As would I.

You can barely see him kick a guy once though when he swings off a light fixture, so...... maybe.

The wait is long and painfull for a lot of games.. Only game that comes out this year I'm really interessted in is Gears of War, which offcourse is very weak for the 2006 holiday season.. And this goes for both the Xbox 360 and PC.. Bassicly all games I'm looking forward to are all 2007 games (mostly delayed to 2007).. Maybe I missed 1 or 2 games, but I think they're all 2007..

This game looks cool btw..

But then again, shooting groins can never get old :p

Maybe you should consider rainbow six vegas, cause it's predecessor (not lockdown) was the best shooter on the Xbox IMO....
