GSY Preview PC PS4 Xbox One

Last Tuesday, we were invited to play a preview build of Dishonored 2 on PC. We were able to discover the multiple facets of Mission 4, set in a strange manor. After playing it several times with Corvo and Emily, we can say that this sequel shows great potential, in terms of gameplay mechanics, atmosphere and art style. We were authorized to capture some footage of this non-final build, so if you want to see a bit more of Kirin Jindosh's mechanical house, then follow us inside.
Note: We don't need to remind you that the videos having been captured on a preview build, the technical issues you might see here and there do not reflect the final quality of the game. We are confident that the final version will be as optimized as the first game was at launch.

This and Mafia 3 are two must buy games for me later this year, just a little too busy now to play them. :(

I really love the artstyle. i wasn't too impressed like other people were with the artstyle of the first game. It was good but the tech wasn't there to support it. Dishonored 2's void engine though looks exactly how i wanted the original to look like. I'm a little disappointed that there are still loading screens between areas but im ok with it as long as they keep them short on consoles.

Looking technically quite spectacular. Nice use of TAA at the moment!

I am so happy to see a lot of idtech5 legacy gone: this game has real time shadows and lighting!

Now to just hope it goes above 60hz...

Can you guys say how good the ai was from what you played? I know its not the final build and the difficulty maybe was tweaked just for the demo but i still would love to hear your opinion.

Character design/detail, like the previous title, is boderline pathetic and way cartoonish, but everything looks stellar. really well realised level.

Its part of the art-style. It would be absurd expecting Arkane to change the character design just because some people don't like Dishonored's art design.

No it doesn't. Trust me, i just started playing the definitive edition of Dishonored on ps4 which looks almost the same as the pc version at max settings and the difference is huge.

Looks so good. some of the best, most consistent and coherent art in a video game.

Played it at EGX, the new additions to non-lethal are so good! Non-lethal aerial takedowns, shadow walk, domino, and can hack the robots instead of killing them. If you shoot off the head of the robot, you can get it to kill the Jindosh guy without any blood on your hands

Easy GOTY contender.

Well I have to say I think it looks great so far, while I for the most part do not like games that have this cartoon like art-style I loved the first game and this is looking better the more I see it. The environments look great and the character design looks ok too. A few jerky movements from some of the characters in the fights though but its not a finished product so wont know till the final game if that's how it will be...but I'm very excited about this seeing these videos.

I will say though that some games that choose this kind of cartoon look could still have better textures in them, theres not really a excuse for bad textures and can not be blamed on the artistic style of the game I don't think...this game how ever looks like the perfect way to make a game in this style....Finally a game I'm excited to play

It's a consistently good game with some great moments. If it takes you in, should be no trouble to enjoy your way through :)
