Trailer PC Xbox 360 PS3

During EA's conference, we got to see a live demo of the PC version of Need for Speed: Shift and it was pretty impressive to be thrown into the cockpit of a Zonda for a few minutes. EA also showed a new trailer of the game that you can now see inside. The gameplay video we shot and those we'll make on the showfloor will be available tomorrow at best, given the difficult upload conditions we're having at the hotel at the moment.

Update: Added the gameplay, from the PC version.

Really nice action and I see that cars can flip in this one as well? – Good!
There is only one thing I bash this game for: The BMW M3 GT2 in Forza 3 looks better and is actually in every game :P

lol, yeah the M3 GT2 is turning into the Audi R8.

Other than that, Shift looks fucking epic.

These trailers are so stupid! Why don't they show the game? Damn....

I think it did. I’m sure the cockpit scenes are actual game play footage.
And many of the others are probably from replays. Of course they would cut it together to an appealing action pack.
Just showing someone driving one round isn’t all that spectacular.

The game itself looks nice, but the trailer was, quite frankly, garbage.

It should but you also have to remember that unlike the 12 or 16 car grid in SHIFT, FM3 has only 8 cars on the track. For me, I'm willing to give up a bit of details in the graphics for a much better racing experience. That's why SHIFT is a racing sim while Forza 3 is more "about, cars, not racing so much."- Dan Greenawalt.

OK, I'm sold on the presentation aspect of this game for sure. I just still find it soooo hard to believe a NFS game can ever be nearly as good as a PGR game. But that sure as hell is what I'm hoping for out of this game. Especially after seeing the crap Bizarre is working on called Blur. ugh...

WTF?? During the press conference gameplay presentation the developer said "You'll notice as he reaches high speeds the cockpit blurs out allowing you to focus on the road ahead of you." Gee thanks Mr. developer for ALLOWING me to focus on the road but I can handle that myself without you adding a hideous blur effect to the entire cockpit view. I'm always amazed at the idiotic ideas that game developers sometimes come up with. Hopefully there's an option to turn it off, because other than that the game is looking great.

Honestly we will see about that later when both games hit the shelves.
I see that many people from Slightly Mad Studios previously worked for SimBim and are well known for developing racing simulations. I also know that they got several difficult levels for Shift including one they claim to be a hardcore simulation modus on the level GTR 2.
But it’s still published by EA and is called NSF.
The racing experience might suffer from other things e.g. that the game is not running at 60FPS and stuff leaving it behind even with more cars on track.

Lol, that looked pathetic--the way the Zonda accelerated looked extremely stupid. With that said, the interior and interior shadowing look really awesome.
