During EA's conference, we got to see a live demo of the PC version of Need for Speed: Shift and it was pretty impressive to be thrown into the cockpit of a Zonda for a few minutes. EA also showed a new trailer of the game that you can now see inside. The gameplay video we shot and those we'll make on the showfloor will be available tomorrow at best, given the difficult upload conditions we're having at the hotel at the moment.
Update: Added the gameplay, from the PC version.

There is only one thing I bash this game for: The BMW M3 GT2 in Forza 3 looks better and is actually in every game :P

Other than that, Shift looks fucking epic.
And many of the others are probably from replays. Of course they would cut it together to an appealing action pack.
Just showing someone driving one round isn’t all that spectacular.

I see that many people from Slightly Mad Studios previously worked for SimBim and are well known for developing racing simulations. I also know that they got several difficult levels for Shift including one they claim to be a hardcore simulation modus on the level GTR 2.
But it’s still published by EA and is called NSF.
The racing experience might suffer from other things e.g. that the game is not running at 60FPS and stuff leaving it behind even with more cars on track.
love the motion crash at end
