I don't understand, the PS3 is out in less than 3 months and these boards are empty...whats wrong with you people? Aren't you excitied about another player coming to this next-gen play-offs?
More competition is only gonna be better for us as consumers, I for one can't wait for the next-gen to really kick off when both Nintendo and Sony join the party.
it's not dead. it's just Playsyde is just a few months old and it doesnt have that much visitors like Xboxyde. give it time and there will be so much to read in the comments section that you would wish there are werent that many people :) ;)
back on topic: One word Rainbow six looks gorgeous. it's a tactical squad based shooter so I wouldnt exactly put it as plainly a shooter.
wow this gen's graphic are jaw dropping on loads of games. I hope they take R6 back to its less linear Rouge Spear days, i have been dissapointed with all the console versions, they have been to linear, naff AI, to much scripting, not enough guns.
I like this game but still wish they'd go back to the original Rainbow Six games on PC when you could strategically plot out the entire operation and then enter the level and find out that all your guys died because you didn't plan right, those were the good days.
It sure does look great, but this is one of those games that depends so much on the AI. I just hope the AI truely is next-gen and better than what I've seen on some current gen games.
I think 360 and PS3 are to similar to be honest. Nothing really seperates them , all the games seem to be the same. It's hard to get excited about PS3 when I've been playing 360 for the last year and see no improvement. Wii is different but will the controller become a novelty after a few months?. Time will tell for all next gen consoles.
360 does exactly what is says on the tin, what does PS3 do?, no one seems to know as Sony have been so secretive with its hardware.

LOL, I remember those days! I like both types of gameplay, the one in the original games and the R63 ones.
