With less than a month until the release, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas is back with some more images. Ubisoft seem to have done well with the porting to the Playstation 3.
Ubisoft released today Rainbow Six Vegas Red Edition, the first downloadable content for Rainbow Six Vegas, with 3 new maps and some new gameplay modes for 800 points. This video shows that new content in action.
Ubisoft released these five images from the upcoming downloadable content for Rainbow Six Vegas, to be released at the end of March. 5 new maps will be included (2 of them being modifications from current maps), and 2 new play modes. No info on the pricing yet.
Rainbow Six Vegas has finally been released in Europe this week, so it's about time we finally released our traditional first 10 minutes video. For the moment it will only be available in 640 resolution, showing the first level of the game (in "realistic" mode), a level with some striking similarities with the second one of GRAW. Strange way to begin a game named Rainbow Six: Vegas, but why not. A 720p version will be online tomorrow when the game will head to Blimblim's HD capture hardware. Nevertheless even if not everyone will like its style, Rainbow Six Vegas is definitely one of the most important title of the Xbox 360 system.
Update: 720p version online!
Ubisoft keeps releasing new videos of Rainbow Six: Vegas, even though the game is already available in north america. This time we get a rather nice video about the coop modes, and it looks like a lot of fun.
Ubisoft keeps presenting (some would say spoiling) levels of Rainbow Six: Vegas, with this week the one called Vertigo.
Ubisoft this week allows us to get some more informations about the multiplayer "adversarial" mode of Rainbow Six Vegas. This should be a hit on Xbox Live.
Another weekly update we are also starting getting used to, Rainbow Six Vegas is back with another new level unveiled, this one called Downtown. As always, it looks pretty nice.
After the demo 2 days ago here is now a long video of Rainbow Six: Vegas from the preview version Ubisoft kindly sent us last week. In this video I visit the Strip, play on a few gambling machines and finally try book a room in an obviously full hotel. These Vegas people sure are agressive :)
Needless to say, again, that this is from a preview version. It's more than likely that the bugs and slowdowns will be fixed in the final release.
