It's difficult to show Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts in motion on Microsoft's booth, so here is at least a video showing the huge level, on foot. Yes, it's a strange idea.
Update: Since this first video was sooo popular we HAD to do another one. So here is a race with some strange looking vehicles. Let's just say also that the player is not someone for the team, and the the strange vibrations in the video are due to the sound level of the MS demo stage on their booth. If you still don't understand why we don't have sound in our videos, I can't do anything for you anymore ;)

anyways, i'd like to see what direction this game takes.
As for this Banjo vid,I was only curious as how it plays,I'd prefer a Kameo II myself.
thx anyway @blim&team for the very good work :)
Wich translates, GTFO You freakin' bandwith thieves.
It will probably be back, after all this GC08 frenzy is over.

This game does look nice. I don't know why, but I love shiny rough surfaces like the ground at the beginning. Ever since the tile floors at the train station level in Half Life 2 I have drolled over all things shiny... Yum...
And this game is really starting to appeal to me. It might be a bit simple, but with the vehicle creation it obviously has tons of potential for depth, which I plan on exploring to the fullest. And lots of other stuff that just tickles my fancy. And i need to escape from all the Gears of War and what not =) With this and I will have to finally pick up Kameo too.
SOLD.
The game looks good, btw, certain objects even have a bit of a CG-ish look about them (like the cogs). The gameplay i've seen in multiple videos however looks boring imo.
I want to love it but I just can't for some reason.
LBP is nothing but creating content. Banjo is an actual platform game, were you can construct vehicles to help you get around. And considering it's been in development a lot longer than LBP, I highly doubt that it had any impact on its development.
I personally think it looks lovely in terms of backgrounds, but (and I find myself agreeing with the dude more and more) as Korndog says, the style is a real mess. The characters sit uneasily with the rest of the design work. Strangely unlike Viva Pinata, which looks beautiful. Unlike KD though, I have to say I find the idea of the vehicles oddly compelling and looks kinda fun when it comes to physics puzzles. Nice!
