Here in France, Grendizer was huge when it came out in the late 70s. So huge that we had reruns on television for a few decades. So huge that Go Nagai even accepted the comic book project some French artists presented to him a few years ago. It's just been released in France and it's a great story to discover. That's not the point of this news article though. You may have heard that Microïds was preparing a video game adaptation, which is obviously very risky considering how cult the source material is. The comic book hasn't disappointed so we sure hope the game won't either. French studio Endroad is in charge of the development of Grendizer - The Feast of the Wolves, but we'll have to wait until 2023 to find out if the game can live up to the legend. For now, we only have a teaser and a couple of images to ease the wait.
