GSY Preview PS5 Xbox Series X PC

We don't always get invites to participate to previews anymore so when it happens, we're pretty happy, and even more so this time as it was for EA Sports WRC. After spending more than 10 hours on a non-final preview build, we have brought you back no less than 3 videos showing different stages and situations. Keep in mind that the game is not finished yet and so that it still requires a bit of optimization. Gameplay was recorded with a gamepad so console players can see what to expect but we also played the game with our 2017 CSL Elite and it worked very well (not to mention it added more precision to the steering when taking corners on asphalt). Sadly, we found no way to switch the copilot's language to English, even after launching the game in English.

Driving seems to be more simcade than arcade, nobody in right mind expecting this to be RBR but visually it's quite disappointing specially the lighting and some effects like snowfall as nepton mentioned above, the 2015 Arkham Knight looks way better on UE3 but even their F1 games so I don't know what happened there. Not EA since the game was in developments before them.
YouTube previews are way too positive, even Jimmy Broadbent even though they claim to be not paid previews but we'll see but if the stages are fun and the driving is alright then this is it.

Interesting that we don't have actual rally sims just the soon 20 yo RBR but spoiled by quite many track racing sims. Modern visuals with RBR handling seems to me a dream at this point.
