Provided you don't mind the old school game and level designs, which clearly remind of the early Gears of War era, Space Marine 2 should offer you some action-packed co-op fun with up to three friends. The main campaign lasts about 12 hours, but you can then try Operation mode, which has you play (alone or with friends) as another team during some of the campaign missions to discover how it went for them. If multiplayer is more your thing, there's even a 6v6 game mode, though we haven't been able to give it a try and we obviously can't predict if it has a chance to keep players interested in the long run. There was a time when all game including a solo (or co-op) campaign also featured a multiplayer mode, so thanks to Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive, we get to feel a bit younger somehow. It feels a bit like time travel and it's kind of nice not to have to deal with crafting, loot, weapons upgrades or skill trees. Nostalgic players, get ready to crush some skulls!
