It's during the famous Comic Con that Microsoft released this new CG trailer of Halo 2, to be released as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection in November.
Update: Added a few images from the remastered version of the famous Zanzibar multiplayer map.

Map looks nicely visually improved since halo 3 (which i think is when i last played it). Have to say though Halo 2 is my least favourite halo game. And i take it Reach and ODST arent in the collection?

I need more of a reason to buy a console than games i already own.

Huh? What on earth are you talking about? This has nothing to do with resolution you insane person. My point, which you really should have understood, as it's not a difficult concept, is that Blur's CG trailers never look anything like the games they're designed to promote. Look at their Batman work then look at the games if you can be arsed to.

I wasn't talking about the graphics, I have never played any halo game (shame on me) but always wanted to try them... so now, thanks to this collection, maybe its the perfect time to re-consider playing it. But therefore I need an Xbox.

Meh. I'd play it just because I liked Halo 2, but those photos are OK and a CG trailer means nothing. As long as the gameplay is the same, I may have a go at it. Hope it comes with some nice little in-game bonuses.

well Spirits Within took insane millions to make and that was just a movie. However, 343 dose have a skilled team with better technology at their disposal; so rendering CG could be more cheaper now than years ago.

but i think live action still might be more cheaper, that is if no big name actors are cast for the halo series.

I am really curious about the total length of cg stuff. All non playable cut scenes of Halo2 are 56 min long. But there are lots of scenes, where the video blends to game play, so I guess we won't have an hour of cg glory...

So, to preface...I strongly dislike halo. I loved it on the original Xbox...but pretty much after Halo2 I started hating the franchise. That said...watching this reminded me of what had me so enthralled those many years ago. At first I thought 343/Msoft was tripping by hucking a remake at us to save the console...but they may end up pulling it off. Kudos gents, kudos! Can't wait to see some gameplay! Here's to hoping for 1080p/60fps
