GSY Live Xbox One

Since we posted direct feed videos of Halo: The Master Chief Collection a few hours ago, we didn't expect a lot of people to follow our livestream tonight, especially since we always follow the NDA rules, unlike others it seems. That being said, we still wanted to try out our own livestream system at 60 fps to see how it would hold up for you guys. Image quality is quite bad as we had to make compromises because our computer didn't handle it very well when using better quality settings. It shouldn't be an issue for too long as we have plans to buy a new PC dedicated to capture and livestreams. Anyhow, to make it up for the low quality of the replays (French and English), we've added two last videos of the campaign of Halo 2: Anniversary showing the second part of the Gravemind mission.

Even ported to current gen hardware I find those purple environments in the Gameplay 2 and 3 videos still rather dull and uninteresting. The indoor level design in Halo 1 and 2 singleplayer was really atrocious.

WOW...video 4 looks insane! The lighting is ridiculous. That's some of the best visuals this generation has to offer and its just a remake!

I'd love that too. 60fps or not (are the CGI cinematics really 60fps? The one in the other article wasn't: http://www.gamersyde.com/download_halo_the_master_...), a version without artifacts and with preserved details would be great. Youtube is even more painful to watch when the content looks so cool.

Yes Sir...60fps
... aaaand you think so because... ?
Remember that gamersyde encodes 60fps video because the consoles output 60fps signals even though the frame updates might not be 60fps. So the framerate of the video file is no indication. I can clearly see that in the one video I linked to, the CGI animation plays at 30fps, and it is reasonable to assume that the others are no different. If you can't see it with your eyes, go through it with a frame step (pause and press "E" in VLC, for example) and you'll see that every other frame is a duplicate.

Thanks for clearing that up. Do you know exactly what the rate of the CG is?

I see a lot of ugly aliasing in Halo 2. Its too bad they wouldn't give an option to disable the switching feature for another 600 lines of resolution..
